Co-producers of Udta Punjab, Phantom Films have approached the Bombay High Court against the Censor Board’s refusal to pass the film without cuts.
The HC has sought clarity from the censors on how they can suggest that the film only depicts Punjab as a drug capital. HC has cited Goa as an example, as a state often depicted in poor light. HC proceedings would resume today, June 10.
