Tamil actor Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar has quit the upcoming Malayalam film Aakasha Mittai after facing “crass treatment” from the films production side. The actor tweeted about her experience on Tuesday. The film is the Malayalam remake of last year’s Tamil sleeper hit Appa. On Tuesday, Varalaxmi tweeted: “Thank you Samuthirakani sir and Jayaram sir for having supported my decision. I can’t work with male chauvinists and mannerless producers.”
