Students from colleges across the state continued to protest against NEET while holding the Central and State Governments responsible for the death of S.Anitha of Ariyalur.They managed to reach the memorial built for former Chief Minister Jayalalitha and began a demonstration there.
They were arrested and booked under S.151 CrPC,detained in a community hall and let off later in the day.Similar protests were also held in the other parts of the city. The students are seeking revocation of NEET as they do not want to lose more valuable lives.
