Julio Ceaser Mora and his wife Waldramina Maclovia Quinteros from Quito, Ecuador, have been married for 79 years making them the world’s oldest living married couple. While Julio is 110 years old, his wife Waldramina will turn 105 next month. They have entered into the Guinness Book of World Records.
The couple got married in February 1941 in a secret ceremony as their families did not approve of their marriage. The couple has 5 children, 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. They said that the key to a healthy coexistence is mutual respect, honest work and proper education based on family values. They have been living away from the whole family due to the coronavirus pandemic and are looking forward to reunite with the entire family.
