October 1st has been celebrated as The World Vegetarian Day Annually!
World Vegetarian Day is celebrated on October 1st every year. It was founded by the North American Vegetarian Society in 1977. There are many benefits (at the individual and global level) to being a vegetarian. Some of which are: It reduces major health issues such as heart disease, stroke and cancer, it saves animals from slaughter, conserves water resources, top soil and preserves wildlife habitats which are being exploited for maintaining farms and also helps to reduces pollution.
