Working from home – the new normal

The global pandemic has thrown normal life out of gear and has literally turned the world upside down. The economy has taken a beating. With lockdowns everywhere, most organizations have asked their staff to work from home. Working remote is slowly picking up and is becoming the new normal.
However this forced isolation and shifting corporate culture can be quite a challenge for employees to cope up. The magic potion for employers to achieve the right balance is by using the right technology, coordination, communication, collaboration,  prioritization, setting goals and keeping the team focused. All this will ultimately lead to more productivity. In person meetings will have to be substituted with meetings on Zoom or by making video calls. The shift may appear challenging but if an organization takes the right measures, it can make the most of this quarantine period.
