Women artistes shine in this year’s Grammy awards.After more than a year of #MeToo movement that put the focus on women’s gender equality, women bagged many awards. The album of the year went to Kacey Musgraves for her “Golden Hour” and the best new artiste went to Dua Lipa, Cardi B made history when she won the first female solo best rap album.
She was found literally shaking on stage trying to give a thank you speech. Michelle Obama’s presence added to the list of women’s domination. In all the Grammy Awards of 2018 was a satisfying show as it recognised the talents of women and put the focus on female performers.
