Pushpa Munjial, a 78 year old senior citizen from Dehradun filed a petition in the district court transferring all her property to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. She handed over the testament of her property to Rahul at the residence of former state president Pritam Singh.
The reason behind this transfer was that Pushpa was greatly influenced by the ideas of Rahul Gandhi. She was impressed by the facts that both Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi had sacrificed their lives for the country and that Sonia Gandhi as well as Rahul had dedicated themselves to the service of the nation.
Congress Metropolitan President Lalchand Sharma said that the lady was greatly impressed by the vision that Rahul had for the country.
The property handed over is located in a posh area in Dehradun and is said to have a high monetary value.
