A woman from Saviour Greenisle apartments in Crossings Republik, Ghaziabad allegedly fell from the balcony of her 9th floor flat after a heated argument with her husband on the 13 of July. The 30 year old woman is battling for life in hospital. A video of the incident is being circulated on social media.
The woman has been living in the flat with her husband for the past two years. According to the police, the woman had a heated argument with her husband before the incident but the reason for the argument or how the woman fell is yet to be investigated. The video shows the woman hanging from the balcony and her husband trying to hold on to her and pull her up but she slipped and fell down. She was taken to a private hospital where she is undergoing treatment. As she sustained grievous head injuries, her condition is said to be critical.
The police have stated that neither the husband of the woman nor the residents of the apartment informed them about this incident and have given a warning to residents to inform the police about such incidents in future. They will be interrogating the husband and no case has been registered so far.
