The most awaited race weekend in Bengaluru saw Sir Cecil steal the show at The Kingfisher ULTRA Derby 2018. The extravagant event made way to the most happening weekend in town, as it was the finest display of equestrian power and passion on the racetrack climaxing with the blue-riband race at the Kingfisher ULTRA Derby, Bangalore 2018. Sir Cecil kept his date with destiny at this year’s racing season. An enthralled crowd at the grand stands cheered for their favourite colt Sir Cecil, as the competition was neck to neck and the challenger Star Superior was on pursuit until the end, however the brilliant colt trained by Padmanabhan shot into the lead midway in the home stretch and claimed the title of victor. Sir Cecil’s owners Tej Bir Brar took home Rs 2,50,00,000 crore as prize money and the Silver Trophy from United Breweries limited officials and Harimohan Naidu, Chairman of the Bangalore Turf Club (BTC). Chinu Kala won the Best Dressed Lady award and Arjun Shetty won the Best Dressed Male award.
