Whatsapp issues statement acknowledging the glitch
In an unexpected turn of events, Whatsapp, Instagram and Facebook seemed to have stopped working for several users at a global level. Whatsapp issued a statement saying, “We’re aware that some people are experiencing issues with WhatsApp at the moment. We’re working to get things back to normal and will send an update here as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience!” Though it was not clear as to what caused the crash, users across the globe took to twitter to communicate the issue.
