Cricketer Irfan Pathan tied the knot with Safa Baig from Jeddah in a simple ceremony. The Vadodara cricketer and his 21-year-old bride were married in a traditional ceremony at Haram Sharif in Mecca. Friends of the family said the two were seeing each other for two years before they finally went ahead and took the plunge.
Irfan and Safa met in Dubai about two years ago and she even visited Vadodara to meet Irfan’s family. The duo got engaged about three months ago following which the wedding date was fixed.
