Lara Dutta completely transforms to play the role of Indira Gandhi!
Akshay Kumar is back with yet another thriller, Bell Bottom which will feature him as a RAW agent who is dealing with a hijack situation. Lara Dutta will be taking on the role of Indira Gandhi and fans are amused by the transformation. The film that is slated for a theatrical release on August 19th has been directed by Ranjit M Tewari and is inspired by true events.
Lara Dutta was at the trailer launch event and she said she had a great time playing the role of Indira Gandhi, “As you all know that the film deals with a hijack situation that happened during her tenure. Given the dramatic events that were unfolding, she was somebody who was extremely centred and not really prone to any dramatics. So it was important to portray her in that form. I had a great time. There was a lot of homework and research that went behind it. But it was an opportunity of a lifetime that I’m thankful for.” The film also has Vaani Kapoor and Huma Qureshi in important roles.
