WADe Role Model Supraja Rao is an interior designer from Hyderabad, with innumerable accolades and loyal patrons to her name. She has been the principal and creative head at ‘Design House by Supraja Rao’. The firm celebrates its 25 years this year, having crafted its niche in this highly competitive world of design. It’s her belief that for design the person or the end user is the protagonist and rest is to work around him. The space has to be true to the people who occupy it rather than the designer or the design zeitgeist.
Though not formally trained in design, she is an embodiment of clarity and finesse towards her work and it exhibits practicality and experience. It’s her belief that for design the person or the end user is the protagonist and rest is to work around him.
