After speculation about his eligibility to contest, actor and producer Vishal will now be a candidate in the upcoming Producers Council elections. The Madras High Court on Tuesday dismissed a petition which had been filed questioning the eligibility of Vishal to contest in the election as he was an office bearer of the South India Artists Association.
