Vijay Mallya to be extradited to India

Fugitive businessman Vijay Mallya will be extradited to India. He will be flown into Mumbai and lodged in a Mumbai jail. He will be accompanied by officials from the Central Bureau of Investigation and the Enforcement Directorate. A medical team will conduct a health check up at the Mumbai Airport.
He will be directly produced to court and both the CBI and the ED will seek his custody. He will then be lodged at the Arthur Jail in Mumbai at one of the high security barracks in the two storey building. Mallya is wanted in India in the 9000 crore default involving 17 banks. He recently lost his appeal in a top court in the UK against his extradition to India.
