Tamil film Superstar Rajinikanth described the resignation of BJP Karnataka Chief Minister B.S.Yeddyurappa as a win for democracy and he thanked the Supreme Court for upholding democracy. He wanted Karnataka to implement the Supreme Court order on the Cauvery issue as the Court has given a clear ruling.
When asked whether he would contest the 2019 elections,he said a decision would be taken when the elections are announced and as his party has not yet been launched, it would be too early to talk about alliances.
