US President Joe Biden will be visiting India in September to attend the G 20 Leaders Summit. This summit is expected to be one of the largest gatherings of world leaders in India.
It is scheduled to be held in New Delhi on September 9 and 10. There will be discussions held to tackle global issues like combating climate change, mitigation of the impacts of the Ukraine war, clean energy transition and boosting the capabilities of multilateral development banks including the World Bank.
The G 20 is an intergovernmental forum of the world’s major developed and developing economies. It comprises Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey. the UK, the US and the European Union.
