Unni Mukundan turns producer for his next film releasing on Jan 14th 2022!
Fans will see Unni Mukundan in a totally new avatar in ‘Meppadiyan’. The film which is also his debut project as a producer under the banner of Unni Mukundan Films will be releasing on January 14th 2022. The actor who is very conscious about fitness had to put on 20kg for the role and he revealed that this has been one of the most challenging roles he has played till date.
In an exclusive interview to Ritz, he said, “I have acted, produced and even designed the film. Though Covid kept us on our toes, we completed the film 10 days ahead of schedule. The whole experience has changed me as an individual. It has been like a dream to have finished my own film. We had an extensive star cast with over thirty actors and I am very proud that we, as a team could pull it off inspite of the pandemic situation. As a producer, UMF has given me the sense of freedom to take decisions about what works best for my film and I absolutely enjoyed it.”
He is busy promoting his home production and has multiple projects in the making in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu of which ‘Bro Daddy’ with Mohanlal and Prithviraj will be releasing soon.
