World’s largest cargo plane used to send medical help from Ireland to India
Three oxygen generation units that can each supply oxygen for upto fifty people at a time were sent to India from Ireland along with 1000 ventilators. It has been reported that the largest cargo plane Antonov 124 aircraft is expected to land in Delhi on Sunday morning at 8am. Each oxygen generation unit produces 500L of oxygen per minute. “The UK is sending surplus oxygen generators from Northern Ireland to India. This life saving will support the country’s hospitals as they care for the country’s vulnerable patients,”said Dominic Raab, UK Foreign secretary. “The UK and India are working together to tackle the pandemic. No one is safe until we all are safe,” he added.
