Rishi Sunak, the Prime Minister of UK will be visiting India later in the week for the G20 World Leaders Summit to be held in New Delhi. His relatives in the country are planning to give him a warm welcome.
He will be accompanied by his wife Akshata Murthy on his first visit to India since he became PM. On the cards is a feast with flowers and dance to Punjabi music. Though the exact plans have not been divulged, this is one of them.
However, it is doubtful if Rishi Sunak will be able to attend the welcome event as there is a hectic work schedule for him for the G20 summit which will take place on Saturday and Sunday. Moreover, there is also a bilateral meeting between the British PM and PM Narendra Modi.
While Rishi Sunak’s relatives are from the northern part of India, Akshata’s relatives are mostly from Karnataka.
