Following the success of Karnan, director Mari Selvaraj who is presently shooting a sports drama starring Dhruv Vikram has now announced another film, with Udhayanidhi Stalin in the lead. According to a source, “Mari Selvaraj’s film with Dhanush will take some time to go on floors because the actor has committed to a few other projects as well. So, when Udhayanidhi had expressed an interest in working with him, the filmmaker had agreed to do a film with the actor-politician before moving on to his Dhanush film. This one will also be a hard-hitting film, like the director’s Pariyerum Perumal and Karnan.”
Udhayanidhi is currently shooting for two projects almost simultaneously. He has resumed work on his film with Magizh Thirumeni, an action thriller set in the world of finance. Meanwhile, he will also resume work on the remake of Article 15, which is being directed by Arunraja Kamaraj.
