Foreign Secretary Liz Truss was talking about her economic plans if she was elected when the host Kate McCann fainted. She was advised by the medical team not to continue with the debate and so it was cancelled after an apology was given to viewers and listeners.
Both Rishi Sunak and Liz Truss were clashing with each other over the issue of taxes. Both of them will be travelling throughout the country to address a series of hustings to woo Conservative Party members. Voting will close on September 2 and results will be declared on September 5.
