The IRCTC’s latest train Train 18 is soon going to begin operations on the New Delhi – Ghaziabad- Palwal route. The National Capital is going to be in for a real treat from IRCTs latest offering which features amazing top-notch passenger-friendly features. Train 18 has been manufactured at the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai and is going to help regular commuters to travel with ease in Delhi-NCR very soon.
Two such trains are lined up for manufacture and would be sent to the Northern Railway zone for passenger runs. As per reports, the EMU trains can run n 95km per hour and the trains have digital control panels in the driver’s cabin which helps in operating the train without any disturbance.
A lot of amazing facilities are in place for travelers, such as women’s only coaches, screens in every coach, and GPS installed for women and children’s safety. The Railway Ministry, according to the Minister of Railways Piyush Goyal, has manufactured 6037 coaches in this financial year. In the last financial year, only 4470 coaches were produced by the ministry, indicating a 35 percent rise from the last financial year.
