DOLLY GURBANI, Designer and Owner, Diyaash Jewellery says that “Managing teenage children and handling a competitive world of the profession is definitely one of the biggest challenges I face. Even more difficult is striking a balance between the two. My daughters are the source of my joy and happiness, while my work is my passion and strength for my daily living – both of which demand my attention, and at the same time are a responsibility, too. As an entrepreneur it’s not easy to explain to the children that work is important – so I have now dedicated my weekends to the kids and all my work happens during the week. I try my best not to bring any work stress at home and I don’t let them know what I am dealing with at work, which is not always easy to do, but I do pray each day that God gives me the strength and wisdom to deal with this and pull it off gracefully.”
