The Purple Turtles
The Purple Turtles story begins almost a decade ago, at a time when lighting up your space was a choice between mass-produced light fixtures or inaccessible imported design. What started as a boutique lighting studio in Bangalore showcasing the best of our own and independent Indian design in 2009, has grown into one of the most eclectic stores for home decor. They design with freedom and source with responsibility, all for the love of collecting, curating, and creating!
Oorjaa
Oorjaa is an exploration of light that reflects our love of material, craftsmanship, and sustainable living. Crafted with care, every lamp is alive with the inimitable individuality of the handmade. Oorjaa is a design studio led by Jenny Pinto who started Bangalore’s first handmade paper studio in 1998 and Radeesh Shetty of The Purple Turtles. They handcraft natural materials to create an evolving range of lamps for retail and custom lighting solutions for commissioned spaces and projects.
Beruru
For the unassuming balcony, the sun-soaked terrace, the little backyard or grounds that stretch beyond the eye can see, Beruru has something for every kind of garden. They’ve traveled the world to bring an eclectic range of plants, planters, garden accessories, decor, and furniture for indoor and alfresco spaces — all under one roof.
