Enter into a palatial yellow charming bungalow with oystershell windows, dramatically coloured walls and rustic furniture; highlighting the Portuguese influence, surrounded by greens for a fun and engaging experience. Master Distiller, Michael D’ souza whose passion for whiskies drew him into the world of distilling, takes you around the entire distillation process, followed by sampling of each of the expressions in the tasting room. At its Visitor Centre, the first of its kind in India, the internationally acclaimed Paul John whisky puts together the craft and time-honoured process behind the making of single malts. For those keen to understand the making of fine whiskies and interested in extraordinary travel experiences, the Centre is a perfect half-day itinerary that unravels the rare art of whisky-making, from mashing to distilling in fine copper pot stills. The visit to the underground cellar would be a magical moment filled with rich aromas to each and every whisky connoisseur.
