‘Vastrabharana’ is celebrating its 27th glorious year and the 2019 edition is back at Chitrakala Parishath with many more exciting participants from all over the country, from the 28th of September to the 2nd of October 2019, from 10 am to 7:30 pm. The Crafts Council of Karnataka has always kept alive the proud tradition of sari culture and awareness specially to our future generations through this flagship exhibition. For several decades, we have carried this meaningful message in all our invitations: “SAREES- OUR HERITAGE, OUR ATTIRE” To celebrate the 27th year of our flagship fundraiser, the Crafts Council of Karnataka is pleased to present a specially curated collection from all over the country to the discerning clientele of Bangalore. Vastrabharana brings to you mainstream weavers, upcoming weavers, National and State awardees this year. Vastrabharana aims to celebrate the languishing textile craft by showcasing an array of exquisite textiles and yardage. The Crafts Council of Karnataka is a voluntary organisation dedicated to the promotion of the traditional handicrafts of our State.
