Scott MacKenzie, the ex-wife of Jeff Bezos who divorced him after 25 years of marriage has married a Seattle teacher, Dan Jewett. Dan teaches in a private school where Scott’s children are studying. The net worth of Scott is estimated to be around USD $3 billion. Dan teaches Science at Seattle Lakeside School.
On hearing the news, Jeff Bezos said that he is happy for them as Dan is a great guy.
Though it is not known as to when the marriage took place, Scott and Dan announced their marriage publicly in a post on the Giving Pledge. It is a site where the super -rich people vow to dedicate their wealth to others. Dan stated “I have been a teacher for the majority of my life, as well as a grateful student of the generosity of those around me. This has meant doing my best to follow their example by passing on resources of all kinds-from time to energy, to material possessions-when I have had them to give. And now, in a stroke of happy coincidence, I am married to one of the most generous and kind people I know- and joining her in a commitment to pass on enormous financial wealth to serve others.”
