The Amethyst Room presents the latest collections from Padmaja, Maku and Amrich. Padmaja presents ‘Ayuhuma – The Spirit of Nature’, a collection of tunics, stoles, sarees and crop tops made out of natural fibres and dyed in natural colours sourced from recycled flowers and fruits like coconut, rose and marigold.
Maku’s Autumn Winter 19 collection, ‘Be Here’ is a tribute to the planet’s precious wildlife that is going extinct. The collection brings together the luscious mulberry, the rawness of eri, the crispness of linen and the warmth of wool. Amrich presents the Fall Winter 2019-20 collection, ‘Pattern Play’ that features shibori patterns, fabric manipulation, hand embroidery and threadwork in a palette that is subdued yet bold in shades of black, red, blue and green. Exquisite khadi cotton, wool, silks and silk blends have been used in the collection.
