In an attempt to help India gain some glory in swimming at the Olympics, Speedo India, a leading swimwear brand, announced ‘Team Speedo for India’, with 9 upcoming swimmers who will endeavour to qualify for the Tokyo games in 2020.
Team Speedo was launched in Bangalore, with ace swimmer and Olympian Nisha Millet, who will act as a mentor to the swimmers.
In addition to encouraging the swimmers’ efforts towards qualifying for the Tokyo games, Speedo India will also sponsor the athletes to ensure they reach greater heights.
Nisha Millet believes this group of young swimmers has the ability to shine on the biggest stage, the Olympics. “The youngsters who are a part of Team Speedo are hungry and determined to push harder than anyone else to get to the final stage. For them, being a part of Team Speedo is another step in their quest to gain Olympic glory for India.
