Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin gave passengers a pleasant surprise as he boarded a city bus and had brief interactions with them.
The CM was on his way to a vaccination camp held as part of the sixth mega Covid-19 inoculation drive across the state, at Kannagi Nagar, when he boarded the M-19 b Kannagi Nagar – T.Nagar bus.
He asked women passengers about their opinion of the government’s free bus travel scheme for them. The women were totally delighted to interact with the Chief Minister.
The state government had included free passes for women passengers in city buses and they fulfilled one of their poll promises in the DMK;’s manifesto ahead of the Tamil Nadu assembly election. The government also announced free bus travel passes for differently abled persons and transgenders in urban areas.
