External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has announced that she will not be contesting the 2019 Lok Sabha polls. She has also informed the BJP leadership about her decision.
Her close aides said that the decision is due to health reasons.She was not able to attend election meetings due to a kidney condition. Her husband Swaraj Kaushal thanked his wife for making the announcement and said that even the great athlete Milka Singh will have to stop running one day.
