Sundar Pitchai, the CEO of Google was born and brought up in Ashok Nagar, a quiet residential area in Chennai. His father recently sold the house where Sundar Pitchai was born and raised. Sundar Pitchai lived in this house till the age of 20 when he left Chennai to study Metallurgical Engineering at IIT Kharagpur.
The property was purchased by Manikandan, a small-time actor and producer in Tamil cinema. Manikandan is also a real estate developer and builds homes under the name of Chellappas Builders. When Manikandan heard that the property was up for sale, he decided to buy it.
Pitchai’s father completed the formalities of the sale and even got the property demolished at his own expense before handing over the documents to Manikandan who plans to build a villa in this space.
