The sixth edition of SPRINT 2020, the Interschool Athletics Meet hosted by PSBB Group of Schools took off to a flying start at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Periamet, Chennai on Thursday, 30th January, 2020.
About 1200 students from 33 schools in and around Tamilnadu participated in the event, marching to the music proudly holding the flags of their respective schools.
Mrs. Radhika Unni, Principal, SBOA School and Junior College, Chennai who inaugurated the event, appreciated students for their participation. She affirmed that sports contributes to physical as well as emotional wellbeing as it helps to keep one fit and healthy as well as face failures which are stepping stones to success. She thanked PSBB group of schools for providing the platform for school students to display their athletic prowess and “sprint” towards a healthier life style.
Mr.Shanker Basu, Former Head, Strength and Conditioning Coach – Indian Cricket Team, is the chief guest of the valedictory function to be held on 31st Jan 2020.
