Sonia Gandhi has created a new Consultative Group for the Congress Party and has selected former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to be it’s Chairman. This group will discuss about the current issues and formulate views of the party on important issues. This group will meet virtually everyday.
Rahul Gandhi will be part of the group. Party Chief Spokesperson Randeep Surjewala will be the Convenor. The other members of the group include former Finance Minister P. Chidambaram, former ministers Manish Tewari and Jairam Ramesh, other leaders including Pawan Chakravarti, Gaurav Vallah, Supriya Shrinate and the party’s social media head Rohan Gupta.
