Project Nanhi Kali, jointly run by Naandi Foundation and KC Mahindra Education Trust, turned 10 in 2015 and is celebrating its long and intimate association with girls and the spirit of women this International Women’s Day with five celebrated films of Smita Patil, the well-known actor of Indian cinema who raised many pertinent social concerns with her gripping performance.
Had she been with us, Smita Patil would have been 60 this year.
Celebrating the feisty spirit of Smita Patil and Project Nanhi Kali from 5th to 8th March, all are requested to join at Prasad Laboratories for the movie screenings and take part in the discussions on cinema and gender concerns with noted film personalities.
