Sleeping for long hours during pregnancy may cause stillbirths

A new study has cautioned pregnant women who sleep more than nine hours during night, as it can lead to late stillbirth.

According to scientists from the University of Michigan, excessive sleep can lead to blood pressure reaches its lowest point. This situation may cause  foetal growth problems, preterm birth, and stillbirth.

Very disruptive sleep may also cause poor pregnancy outcomes, added the researchers.
