Singer Shreya Ghoshal posted the news of her first pregnancy on Instagram where she posted a picture of herself flaunting her baby bump. She was dressed in a blue and green outfit and posed on her balcony. She said she was thrilled to share this good news and asked her fans for their love and blessings as she enters a new chapter of her life.
Messages congratulating Shreya poured in from many people.and fans showered her with good wishes. Shreya got married to Shiladitya Mukhopadhaya in a low key affair in February 2015. They are childhood sweethearts.

Shreya has been keeping herself occupied during the lockdown and has been making music with her brother, Soumyadeep Ghoshal. The lockdown period made her foray into her roots in classical music. However, she did not want it to sound like a cliched classical piece, but like a new age experience.
She rose to fame for her work in the hit film Devdas in 2002 for which she received the National Film Award for the Best Female Playback Singer. She also won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer and the Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent.
