Actor and dancer Shobana took to Instagram to share an image of herself receiving a memento from Chief Minister M K Stalin along with the Governor of Tamil Nadu, Banwarilal Purohit. She had performed at the Raj Bhavan in Chennai to songs on Gandhian thoughts. She admitted that she was performing after a gap of one and half years. After going slow for a such a long time due to the pandemic, the actress said she felt humbled to feel the spirit of the nation from inside the Raj Bhavan and that the performance felt like a super great way to get into ‘Third gear’. She thanked the Tamil Nadu government for the opportunity.

The Governor of TN and the Cm @mkstalin watched on quietly as we performed some songs on gandhian thoughts . It did cross my mind that the leaders that sat in front of me deserved all prayers and peace to carry on their duties to the people .
We had deer loitering around the campus as they played the bugles for the retreat of the flag . Info : Rajbhavan has 2400 deer inside the campus ❤️ Realised that we take the things that we care about most for granted .. health , opportunities , respect ..
