Shakthi has been writing songs since 2007 and has recorded some of her original compositions. She has been a recording artist as a Playback Singer for the Indian Film Music Industry since July 2008 and has had the wonderful opportunity to record vocals for the theme song for the Chennai Sangamam Festival 2009 – \”Kaaveri\” composed by notable musician and composer, Paul Jacob. Her voice is serene and one singer to definitely watch out for.
