It’s been quite a long time the Baadshah of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan delivered a bonafide Hit. He gave a statement recently, in which he said, “My next role will be as sexy as my last one. So you want me to be a sexy father, a sexy hero, sexy whatever you want me to be. My next role will be as sexy as you want me to be.”
Off late the actor might follow Salman Khan’s footsteps and consider doing remakes As per the latest reports, SRK might star in the remake of Thalapathy Vijay’s blockbuster Mersal, which was directed by Atlee. The reports came out yesterday when Shah Rukh Khan and director Atlee, were seen sitting next to each other during the IPL match between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders.
Talking about Mersal, the film had collected over Rs 250 crore at the worldwide box office during its theatrical run and turned out to be Vijay’s biggest blockbuster ever. In fact, #Mersal was the top Indian hashtag of 2017. Apparently, it turned out to be the first Tamil film set to release in China. The film was applauded for its production value and larger than life concept from the audience.
The film received appreciation for its direction, Vijay’s performance and AR Rahman’s background score. It also featured Samantha Akkineni, Kajal Aggarwal, and Nithya Menen in key roles, while Vijay was seen portraying a triple role in the film. But King Khan has not given a nod for the film.
