Tennis superstar Serena Williams sang a version of the Australian band The Divinyls 1991 hit in support of Breast Cancer Network Australia. At the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, she recorded a version of the Divinyls global hit ‘ I Touch Myself ‘ in order to remind women to self check on a regular basis.
She said that it was something that affected women of all colours throughout the world and early detection would save many lives. The song was co-written by Divinyls Australian vocalist Chrissy Amphlett who died of breast cancer at the age of 53. The song was to make women to give their health a priority.
