Second edition of MY FM Ke Rangrezz brings to a close with grandeur success
MY FM concluded the second season of its initiative “MY FM Ke Rangrezz”. The 2nd season saw huge response in all the cities, Rangrezz is a painting competition which was started by MY FM in 2014. Every year around the Children’s Day MY FM launches the initiative with the primary motive of imbibing good habits at a young age and thus shaping a better future.
This season’s theme was ‘Personal Hygiene’. The initiative brought together lacs of school children, their parents & hundreds of schools & educated them about the importance of Personal Hygiene.About 1.5 Lakhs students from 400 schools participated across 17 cities. More than 3lakhs parents also signed a pledge card to maintain personal hygiene in their daily life and also teach their kids to follow it.
12 best painting from each of the 17 stations were picked and will be part of the annual MY FM calendar for the respective cities.
Talking about the campaign, Mr. Viplove Gupte, Chief Programming Officer said, “Plans for a better future should be planned with the future. Rangrezz is our endeavour to pay back to the society. We initiated Rangrezz last year with a specific theme of “Swachchh Bharat” where in we received tremendous response from the students, and schools. This year, with a new theme of “Swachchh Hum Swasth Hum” we have covered over 400 schools and over 1 lakh 50 thousand students in our 17 cities. Personal Hygiene is the second most important habit that we wanted to propagate on Clean India.
The enthusiasm of respondents and their creativity is unparalleled. The kids have surpassed our expectation. The zeal, the glimmer of hope in their eyes, and their determination to win is noteworthy. We have decided to do this activity regularly, every year. Rangrezz in its season 2 is a much bigger, larger and is helping us share the message of personal hygiene. We would also want to thank them for helping us in our endeavour to bring this change, their enthusiasm and determination was exemplary. Personal hygiene is the first step to good health and we believe these children will prove to be to great influencers in propagating this belief.”
