Saudi Arabia is set to mark a historic milestone for the country as it will take part in the Miss Universe pageant for the first time. Rumi Alqahtani, a beauty pageant participant, shared this news on social media.
The Miss Universe pageant is one of the world’s renowned pageants and Khaleej Times has reported that Rumi Alqahtani will be participating in this pageant. Rumi has competed in many other international beauty pageants including the recent Miss and Mrs Global Asian held in Malaysia.
The upcoming pageant will be held in Mexico. Miss Nicaragua, Sheynnis Palacios was crowned Miss Universe in the 2023 event. It was the first time that a contestant from Nicaragua won the title. Antonia Porslid from Thailand and Moraya Wilson from Australia won the second and third positions in the pageant last year.
