Rich tributes paid to Neil Armstrong

Ohio museum is celebrating 50th anniversary of the Apollo ll mission. Tributes were paid to Neil Armstrong on the occasion. New statues of the astronaut were unveiled the Armstrong education centre which was dedicated in his name in his home town at Ohio. A bronze life size statue of Armstrong as a test pilot was inaugurated at the Armstrong Air and Space Museum. Another statue of him as a little boy sitting on a beach holding an aeroplane was installed outside the museum.

Neil Armstrong was the first man to step on the moon way back in July 1969. More than 6,00,000/ people were involved to put Apollo ll on the moon half a century ago. That massive workforce included engineers, scientists, mechanics, technicians, pilots, drivers, secretaries and seamstresses. All these people worked in tandem behind the scenes to help Armstrong achieve his first lunar footsteps.
