A Mumbai court has extended the judicial custody of actress Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik till the 20th of October. The duo have been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with a drugs probe related to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
Their bail pleas were rejected and they approached the Bombay High Court for bail. The High Court has reserved orders in the case. Meanwhile, the Central Bureau of Investigation is separately pursuing a case against Rhea and few others for allegedly abetting Sushant’s suicide.
