Sanjay Garg showcased his rendition of the summer garden with his new collection ‘Bageecha’. A homegrown brand rooted in Indian culture and global in relevance, Raw Mango encompasses textile, the human condition, socio-economic realities, design challenges, and cultural touch points unveiled a colourful collection ‘Bageecha’ at FICCI’s Women’s Excellence Awards celebration. Presented under the treetops of the exquisite Taj Westend, the evening witnessed a grand show which the enthralled the spectators. The garden venue added to overall showcase and theme thus bringing out the colors in its true form. Models were adorned with jewels from Amrapali. Bageecha features the fauna and flora of summer gardens. Garments and saris are woven in silk brocade and light weight organza in a range of summer colours, transitioning from the warmer angoori and lavender, to the evening black and chatak peela. “We opened our flagship store at Walton Road in Bengaluru three months ago and this show is an extension of that celebration. Bengaluru has welcomed us with open arms and I’d like to dedicate my summer edit to this beautiful city of gardens,” said Sanjay Garg. Guests who joined in the celebrations included Tarang Arora, Yashodhara Shroff, Sabrina Suhail, Sunita Kumar Emmart, Apremaya and more.
