Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are big stars in their own right, there is something about the duo, collectively, that makes one gush, gush and only gush. The fan-mania began when they started dating and continues to hold strong even today, after their break-up. The overwhelming love of people who stan the ex-lovers for their off-screen chemistry and the magic they create on-screen.
The last time we saw duo together, was in Imtiaz Ali’s Tamasha where they came together after a gap of four years and proved that exes can be good friends and even better co-actors. Fans just might get lucky and see them reunite again, both RK and DP are in talks with Anurag Basu for his next directorial. Ranbir has previously worked with Basu in films like Barfi and Jagga Jasoos and needless to say shares a bond with him.
On the other hand, the diva has never collaborated with the filmmaker. It will be exciting to know if the duo will reunite on screen. On the work front, Deepika is busy shooting for Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak which is based on the life of an acid attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal. The actress will be seen opposite Vikrant Massey in the film. Meanwhile, Ranbir will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra alongside girlfriend Alia Bhatt.
