Rakul Preet was supposed to play the leading lady opposite Sai Dharam Tej
Rakul Preet Singh was supposed to romance Supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej in his next flick. The movie which is helmed by Gopichand Malineni and will be produced by Nallamalupu Bujji and Tagore Madhu.
Grapevine has it that Rakul walked out of Sai’s project so that she could be roped in for Prince Mahesh’s new film. It is a known fact that Rakul was looking forward to being the lady lead opposite Mahesh Babu. Incidentally, Rakul Preet Singh replaced Parineeti Chopra in Mahesh’s film, as the Bollywood starlet demanded huge remuneration to the makers.
Rakul Preet Singh’s ‘Naannaku Prematho’ stood out as an above average grosser this year while ‘Sarrainodu’ turned as the biggest blockbuster. She is currently working with Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s highly anticipated project of the year, ‘Dhruva’.
